As someone who always played Tomb Raider with TressFX on, I gotta say... This is not much of an improvement. While TressFX’s strands felt too light, this feels a tad too stiff.

Fallout Shelter players seem really fond of having a single dude impregnate the entire female population, sometimes while dressed as something absurd.

That’s not fair. To provide a similar case: Skyrim was balls-out amazing on PC, decent on Xbox360, and shit on PS3. Does that mean we should have all boycotted Bethesda for poor support on just one console, when the other two platforms were doing quite well? Of course not.

Especially since it looks like the Pip-Boy itself is nonfunctional beyond the 4:3 touch screen. All the knobs and switches on the outside don’t seem to actually work. Might as well just download the Pip Boy app and run it on a propped-up iPad.

Nah! I much prefer the convenience of a console.

but I will continue to do so for developers that I trust.

Can he turn his head, though?

And that’s why professional wrestling is so much better. You know the results are fixed, so you’re not really there for who won. You watch for the athletic prowess and the in-ring story.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. First off, CW Megs is a retail figure. Sure, it’s Leader class, but even then it’s a third of the cost of Apollyon, a third-party figure. The difference in price point is significant, because it means they can put more crap into the third party figure. Hastak has to stay within

My only problem with this is that none of those black dudes look like Denzel. If you're gonna randomly make a guy black, make him Denzel.

True; other races — minorities, even — can be horribly racist. Those races, however, do not have the misfortune of being remembered for hundreds of years of subjugation and genocide of non-whites.

That requires an engineer, not a blacksmith.

Nope, these guys are much better. Just compare this shield to Tony's Captain America Shield.

You think those are stupid, and yet you're totally sold on this hot mess?

I'm confused. Are you saying that you have no interest in those figures? Because most people look at those and see something far better than any Hasbro combiner we've seen before, and something approaching or matching 3P quality at a quarter or the price or less.

I dunno how long you've been collecting, but Hasbro have been very consistent with the core naming conventions of Deluxe/Voyager/Leader since the mid-oughties, when I started collecting. Yeah, they'd add a few extra sizes like the Scout, Ultra and Titan classes, or rename the Legends class to Cyberverse. But the core

The naming conventions for retail figures have been pretty standard for a while now: Legends/Legion/Cyberverse for the teeny-tiny ones, Deluxe for the regular-sized ones, Voyager for bigger bots, and Leader for the biggest.

Pretty sure that third party package turns Blastoff and Vortex into partsformers. That's a no-no for me. And the whole point of throwing scale out the window is so you don't have horribly lopsided robo-Igors.

The problem with Green Giant is that his individual members are so off-model anyway. Besides, how much did you drop on him? $500? $600? Titan Devy will be less than $200 for the whole set.

Here's what FOC Bruticus looks like standing next to a Combiner Wars gestalt (arguably the best):
