I'm confused. Are you saying that you have no interest in those figures? Because most people look at those and see something far better than any Hasbro combiner we've seen before, and something approaching or matching 3P quality at a quarter or the price or less.

I dunno how long you've been collecting, but Hasbro have been very consistent with the core naming conventions of Deluxe/Voyager/Leader since the mid-oughties, when I started collecting. Yeah, they'd add a few extra sizes like the Scout, Ultra and Titan classes, or rename the Legends class to Cyberverse. But the core

The naming conventions for retail figures have been pretty standard for a while now: Legends/Legion/Cyberverse for the teeny-tiny ones, Deluxe for the regular-sized ones, Voyager for bigger bots, and Leader for the biggest.

Pretty sure that third party package turns Blastoff and Vortex into partsformers. That's a no-no for me. And the whole point of throwing scale out the window is so you don't have horribly lopsided robo-Igors.

The problem with Green Giant is that his individual members are so off-model anyway. Besides, how much did you drop on him? $500? $600? Titan Devy will be less than $200 for the whole set.

Here's what FOC Bruticus looks like standing next to a Combiner Wars gestalt (arguably the best):

It's pretty much accepted in most TF circles that FOC Bruticus is a bad combiner. Sure, the character model looks great, but the actual figure/s leaves a lot to be desired. It's got so many problems: from the tiny Deluxe torso that has all the combiner pegs, to the limb bots having entirely separate modes for

You'll need a Revoltech Megatron, as the new leader class will be too big to fit in Bruticus' hands. Also, if Onslaught is (as I and many suspect) a Hot Spot retool, then Bruticus' headbutt will land on Devastator's crotch.

You do; it was made in 1986.

He's a haul truck now; those things are as wide as your mom:

The ladder is integral to the torso mode, as the basket on top carries Defensor's head. So they'll have to retool it, but they can't remove it.

They're called Rescue Missiles. It's how 'Murrca does it.

I already have MP-22, but I'm still getting this guy.

Leader-class figures are slightly shorter than Masterpiece Optimus, the new one (MP-11).

They released a Titan-class Metroplex a few years back. It's bigger than that Titan Devastator.

Scrapper has bicep swivel hinges.

Hot Shot

As far as I can tell, the only kibble these guys will have are the forearms, which transform into their missile pods anyway.

That would make sense if Korea was the only country ever occupied by Imperial Japan, or for that matter, occupied for a very long time by another country.

Yeah, a big part of the appeal of Power Rangers (and Super Sentai) is how damn corny everything is, but let's imagine for a second that someone wanted to make a modern Power Rangers movie. And wanted to ditch corny for more of a Godzilla vibe.
