Well, there's still Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends later this month.

Now playing

not as good as Brian Williams' rap masterpieces:

I never understood how Universal can still have the rights to Namor despite not having made a film. Is it tied to another property which they have been making, or did Marvel have zero confidence in the property and just gave it to Universal in perpetuity?

Hell, the fact that Man of Steel failed to light up the box offices last year might even be an indicator that the general public are willing to punish a film when it doesn't go as weird as it should with its properties.

The way the Marvel Cinematic Universe carries on, you'd think the Tessaract is the most powerful item in existence.

Or he's playing it for laughs.

Until Gillan walked her Inversnecky butt to a Doctor Who shoot? Certainly not me. The woman has overridden my usual preference for the ladies (which happens to be petite girls of preferably Asian descent).

She is such an adorable human being. Plus apparently, she plays the piano.

It's not like Guardians has any shortage of explosions itself. And let's face it, dance-based humor is universal, as is Kevin Bacon.

The funny thing is, they already have: The Incredible Hulk was a bomb, Captain America: The First Avenger barely got a return on investment, Iron Man 3 divided fans. It's going to take more than one massive failure to derail them at this point.

Yeah, I was one of those people. I was happily proven wrong, and I've seen it multiple times now.

Footloose is actually pretty universal. At least, everyone knows who Kevin Bacon is.

Oh, thank you for revealing how little you know of James Gunn. The guy already did the music schtick with Slither.

Well said. And let's not ignore the fact that the movie recovered the top of the box office by its third week, despite some new releases coming in then. It's not just the brand that's driving this, it's people telling their friends, "go watch this fun, fun movie!"

It's not even that. It lost week 2 to some pokin' by the the Ninja Turtles, but by the third week it regained steam. It really is word of mouth that's driving this film. Not even the Chloe Moretz YA adaptation was enough to unseat it, when it was fully expected that just like Fault in Our Stars, all the ladies would

I couldn't disagree with you more. I've brought different people to Guardians screenings over the past month, and the only person who had anything approaching a negative reaction was an indie film hipster who thinks tropes=bad, and who still thinks there's such a thing as originality in film.

No Babau? Demonic assassins with sneak attack, corrosive skin and can summon other demons. Takes down the team tank in one turn, then next turn tags in another one just like it. Worse, it could summon a Glabrezu instead.

I don't have an issue with his acting, just his commitment. If his crazy phase was a bit, then that's all good. This is the MCU we're talking about; we, the fans, expect the actors to star in at least three solo films and three team-up films. Doctor Strange, in particular, requires an appearance in the eventual

I love Butters. He's like your ugly, retarded puppy that occasionally does something really, really smart.

Well to be fair, The Incredible Hulk wasn't successful. Combine that with Letterier publicly clashing with the production team (which at the time, included Avi Arad), and Norton's notorious personality, and it's no surprise that we got a replacement Hulk. Which, let's be honest, was a good replacement, probably the
