Lestat was the quintessential Toreador, wasn't he?

Unfortunately, most people play Malkavian as funny-crazy, not ax-murderer-crazy. Vampire: The Requiem tried to reinforce the latter by giving Malks Dementation instead of Dominate, but the wacky-crazy seems to have stuck. I've yet to see a Malk player take their character into more interesting, psychopathic directions.
It's really not ILM's best work.
I just forced myself to read it because (a) art style was engaging, and (b) I liked the meta-ness of it all. But yeah, Scott's a grade-A douchebag that I would punch in real life.
Didn't you read the last sentence? I said, It's the pot calling the kettle black. Neither of them are right, but it's a common enough mistake that maybe you should calm your tits a smidge.
If Guardians of the Galaxy has taught me anything, it's that real men can sing whatever the hell they want. Hell, they don't even have to be men. They could be raccoons. Or trees.
To be fair, the most interesting thing about the Batman mythos are the periphery characters. Unfortunately, with no Batman, then it's not really a Batman show.
Only because everyone else is acting like a complete idiot.
Oh, I never said he wasn't good; my issue back then was he was consistently playing the slick, handsome playboy that regular guys find deplorable.
My take on Casino Royale was, it's a good action film, just not one that showcased the usual trappings of James Bond.
Here's the weird thing: Marvel proves annually that you can have both good CGI and great new stories. This year, they introduced a new IP that was unfamiliar to all but the nerdiest of comic book nerds. Yet they put the effort into it, made sure they had the right story, reinforced that with the right cast, the right…
Some stories don't need to be retold. Case in point, the remakes of Total Recall and Robocop. Two classic 80's films that are relatively timeless (Robocop more so because its future Detroit is now modern Detroit), subjected to forced reworkings that missed the point of the originals by half a mile.
You might want to add: Weeaboo tumblr girls are up in arms about the cast being whitewashed. This is despite all footage we've seen so far being very, very good.
I dunno who "they" are, but I specifically remember people referring to the "tube" because of the Cathode Ray Tube, and not because of the other, smaller vacuum tubes in the box.
Oh yeah, his acting has improved immensely since MWTIF. I mean, don't get me wrong; the guy's nowhere near to winning an Academy award. It's just that his acting was so horrible then, and it's... decent now.
The only thing I remember from Sunshine was Cillian Murphy, so I guess his performance there wasn't so memorable for me. What I did remember were his performances in Not Another Teen movie, Scott Pilgrim, and Fantastic Four.
I was skeptical until Skyfall. That's the movie where he really sold the Bond persona: brutish but suave, charming but unpredictable.
Yeah, that was more of a problem with the source material: Scott was, even in the comics, a person that should've been wholly unlikable, but still found himself surrounded by friends and lovers.
I still remember first hearing about Matt Smith and telling myself, "he's too young, he doesn't look right, what's with the chin?!" Then I saw an interview where he wildly gesticulates while yammering on, and then I was sold.
I still think we could've gotten a better Thor than Hemsworth, but he's serviceable for now.
