I'm not opposed to an actual live-action adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns. However, I doubt BvS will even try to be faithful to the source material, just as Man of Steel has almost nothing to do with John Byrne's classic The Man of Steel comic books.
Unlike Marvel who started with the gritty, realistic Iron Man and later struggled to fit in a frozen WW2 soldier, a Norse god and other more fantastical characters in their cinematic universe
Looks like a triple crossover, with Pocahontas and Nightcrawler teaming up against the crippled dude from Avatar, while he's in his avatar body.
Wait, Stone Cold has psychic powers?!
How close a shave do you get? Are we talking smooth as a baby's butt? Right now I've got a plug-in clipper, and I'd rather get something that works wet-dry and shaves closer.
First off, Steam having games means nothing. It's just another DRM engine and Valve barely makes games anymore anyway.
Keep up with what? Your consoles that barely make 1080p? That have to hostage games with exclusivity because otherwise, nobody'd buy them?
Nope, it's console fanboys who usually predict "the death of PC". We're the ones who sarcastically retort that it's been "dying" since the '80s, so shut up already.
Are you high? Companies that don't even touch PC - like Square, for starters — have begun releasing on Steam. Steam itself is so overloaded with games, the question isn't if there are games for PC, it's about weeding out the shovelware trying to sneak in with the gems. Even without "direct advocates" as you call it,…
2) This whole damn premise is faulty in the first place, because JRPGs have never actually needed a comeback, as evidenced by the fact that pundits look around and asked questions like "are JRPGs making a comeback?" every single year.
Came here for Game of Thrones references. Sorely disappointed.
You can actually hear him getting cuffed.
Why was it even a Not Yet in the first place? I finished it once, and have a second game that's near completion. Both times, I never encountered game-stopping bugs. The worst was a crash or two on my first playthrough that did not affect progress whatsoever. The second-most annoying bug was the cutscenes flickering…
Which reminds me, the kaiju leitmotif in Pacific Rim was a clear homage to Godzilla's own leitmotif:
especially when we all know Coulson's one true love is Steve Rogers.
I just wanted the lie detector scene to reveal his complete name as Robert Grant Ward. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to continue waiting for the appearance of Bob, Agent of HYDRA.
As much as I loved Saffron Burrows as Victoria Hand, I'd rather she not survive. Evil Muscles is so much better for this show, and anything that subverts that wonderful Face Heel turn will make me want to destroy a Firefly DVD box set on sight.
This is an interesting episode; the Robot and the (in-universe acknowledged) Mary Sue, two of the show's most hated cast members, are neck deep in the very engaging B-plot. Meanwhile, Team Likable (now with more diversity!) are the ones gallivanting off to Bland Adventure #23435.
Welcome to the Joss Whedon experience. It's like the George RR Martin experience, but with less tits.
