A quick Google search shows she's far from unattractive, even with the Suicide Girl haircut and the bajillion tattoos.

So, the idea of 'traditional garb' seems rather rooted in the 'black infiltration outfit of super-secret ninja awesomeness' popularized by 1980s North American TV and film...
Utrom Shredder was from the 2003 series. The 2013 Nick CGI series currently has a human Oroku Saki.
That might be true of the '87 turtles, but not the original Eastman-Laird turtles, nor the current 2013 CGI turtles. Both are known for stealthing about, a lot.
They're modern warriors, not cosplayers.
An alien Shredder isn't really a problem; the 2003 TMNT had him as the Utrom Ch'rell, a Kraang-like alien... brain thing that piloted various android bodies through the centuries, and at one point adopting the identity of the Foot Clan leader Oroku Saki.
While I appreciate all teh effort into recapping this game SNES style, can I just say that even abridged, the plot is approaching Metal Gear levels of convolutedness?
I wouldn't say nailed the effects. Some of the alpha energy effects seem to be lacking a bit of oomph. Mode 7's ok, coulda used more of it.
They should just go full on cyberpunk with the plot. Make us feel like Gabriel's chip is necessary. The fact that his mission control had to be the one to disable security was kind of annoying. Why not allow Gabriel to do the hacking, and let his brain interpret it as a mini-game?
I wouldn't say beat-for-beat: the entire first act of Riddick centers on the eponymous bald psychopathic peeping tom (and his dog), while in Pitch Black he is glaringly absent, aside from the opening narration and a few blink-and-you'll-miss-it scenes. I remember the spear being used as often as the automail blade.
It's best to see Outlander with other cheesy Viking movies, like Pathfinder, or 13th Warrior.
No, the film is just wildly successful. It earned $340 million in the US, almost $800 million worldwide. A lot of people really liked it, myself included.
1) You should've run with TressFX on, otherwise, you're not making a true apples-to-apples comparison.
I haven't, because I've been an exclusive PC gamer since the early oughties.
Most, if not all, of the "dumb" things in the one and only Robocop are either intentional satire (the commercials, the overt capitalism), or artifacts of its time (his super low-res GUI and command-line OS). Everything else was spot on brilliant.
Actually, I did just that when the trailer for this piece of shit came out. It was, indeed, a better experience.
You forgot Brooklyn Nine-Nine, unless you're only scoring the hour-long dramas.
Here ya go:
