To be fair, unlike the brother and his wife, this hanger-on directed a pretty good movie. Granted, the film in question was riding more on its horror trope subversions than any overriding visual style...

And just to act as devil's advocate here, Joss' brother and sister-in-law, both writers for his other, more successful projects, are mishandling Agents of SHIELD horribly.
