Assault on Arkham was done by the same team that did Young Justice, using the lore from the Arkham games. So it's basically the best DC animation in years.

Not if it sounds like he's being backed by a third-rate U2 cover band.

Or, you don't know how to read. I pointed out that while the acting was good, the production values were not. dygitalninja didn't address that until his next response, and even he admitted that it was as cheap as he's come to expect. You're just being a jackass.

Really? Do none of you remember that all of the other episodes from NuWho looked just a smidge better than what we got here?

I think you're misunderstanding me. I think the lot of you are. I'm not saying that this was a bad episode, just that it's a clearly low-budget one. I'd be the first one to praise the acting of everyone involved, but I mean just look at all those action scenes shot too close, those corridors getting used just one time

You're not really addressing any of the points I raised: the apparent low production values of this episode. I know that Doctor Who's always been a low budget affair, but this episode seems spectacularly low budget even for the show's usual standards.

Is it just me or does this particular episode feel super low-budget? There's the shoddy CGI, a lot of re-used sets and even shots, and the editing was kinda janky. For contrast, try watching something during season 7, with its more cinematic camerawork.

The cut footage wasn't included in the Bluray's deleted scenes? That's a pity.

Are you retarded? I already explained: it's part of a larger overarching story, this was a big deal in the comics. Marvel, being what they are, want to bring that specific plot to the big screen. If you still can't wrap your brain around that, then you are an idiot.

During that particular sequence, I was whispering to my niece, "you don't have to be a gun. You are who you choose to be."

" Yes, that’s right: Marvel has pivoted yet another franchise entry around some magical space MacGuffin, a physical piece of exposition that the characters can’t stop blathering about. "

"One could trade Lee Pace’s dastardly emperor for the evil elf of that last Thor movie and no one would really notice.)"

If you already know the reviews are from questionable sources, then why base your opinion on them? Do you also re-post crap on Facebook?

Pity the skeletons botched their reflex saves.

There's no reason to be that pessimistic. So far they've followed major story beats, have not shied away from magic in general, and have already set the stage for her arrival with the introduction of the not-so-dead Berric Dondarrion.

Don't forget to mention her alarming codependence to her son.

Worth watching once Amy and Bernadette come on board. Just set your expectations: this isn't Community-clever, where you laugh at one joke while two others run in the background. Nor is it HIMYM-clever, with its use of wordplay and double entendres. This is TBBT, and it's mostly normal sitcom-y jokes with a nerdish

Best way to describe my love for this show:

I think out of the two, part one did better when it came to sticking to its assigned genre and committing to the bit. However, you can't deny the beauty in some of the shots from part two. My favorites are during the third act, namely Troy's death and Han kissing Annie in the paint rain.

Sorely missing the 2-part paintball special, which were two of the best-shot episodes of the season, if not the whole show. Yeah Modern Warfare started the joke, but it was still rough around the edges. A Fistful of Paintballs/ For a Few Paintballs More was overall a more solid production. Even better that they
