Season 4's Christmas episode was supposed to look like one long take as an homage to Hitchcock. However, since Harmon wasn't in charge, the current showrunners couldn't commit to the bit all the way. Had Harmon been in charge, he would have _insisted_ that that episode look like one take, everyone else's schedule be

I'm slightly disappointed that this isn't the episode where Starburns dons the Zardoz bikini-n'-bandoleers. So does that mean we're getting two post-apocalyptic concept episodes this season?

BTW, did anyone notice Chang screaming that his celebrity same-sex crush is Nathan Fillion?

I get the comparisons to An Yang, but that dude didn't speak a lick of English. Victor's more like a poor man's Bert, but without the adorable chubbiness or the infectious exuberance.

The last time he tried that, he set himself on fire.

I thought midgets was the slur?

That actually classifies her as a dwarf. No, you don't need to have achondroplasia like Peter Dinklage; you just need to be under 4'10".

Especially the little Chinese one.

Not only that; there's the fact that Annie's bequeathal is, yet again, that tiara. And she's still Pierce's favorite.

My favorite is still "Imma die by werewolf."

To be fair, I only started liking her after she was re-tasked as the analog interface. Before then, she was just a prettier, crazier Finch on the other side of the fence.

I was like, "is this just a sight gag? Please don't be just a sight gag, I _want_ this."

Had this aired last season, I would've said, "oh look, the new showrunners are starting to get the point!"

If it's the Nicolas Cage of episodes, then it either has to be bad enough to warrant an F, or so good that it's an A. It can't be mediocre.

A-. I'm a big fan of concept episodes like this, AD&D, and Basic Lupine Urology.
The minus is for the seeming lack of resolution on the Jeff and Annie front. At the very least, move it to the next level, so that it can self-destruct as beautifully as Troy and Britta's breakup.

Specifically, a Furby Boom, because they both have dancing lights on their faces.

That's actually very accurate for Youtube comments. Or did you miss the infamous "Bob" incident during the Google+ turnover?

I agree that the number of viewers is weak for allegedly edgy headsplodey snuff. Boring LPs of online card games get more views than that. Unless it's a comment of how much of a loser the guy is that he can't even go viral with edgy material.

black backgrounds are actually very late 90's to early 00's. When the Internet was going through its goth phase.

Christ, were you even paying attention? The power shortage was allegedly due to a solar flare; this implies that petroleum is no longer the main source of energy. They're probably harvesting energy from above the ionosphere, hence solar flares affecting power output.
