To be a bit pedantic, House ate the Time Lord TARDISES. Then he butchered the Time Lords for his lackeys' spare parts.

I think they handwaved it as the war room we saw was for Arcadia. Completely separate from Rassilon's high council at the Gallifreyan capital.

Remember that Rassilon's powerful; he had that zappy gauntlet thing that vaporized that poor lady who disagreed with him, right? I doubt someone that mad and that armed would go down quietly, especially during the final frozen moments of a war.

Personally? There were moments of brilliance, and moments where Moffat's budget failed to live up to his ideas. It's flawed, but not un-enjoyable. For me, the biggest disappointments were the lack of Timothy Dalton and Chris Eccleston. I understand the latter's issues with the production forced them to use archival

What? That was actually the best part of The Power of Three: that the companions have their own lives, their adventures with the Doctor hidden away in microseconds of their real timeline, aging faster than their friends and loved ones.

So long as it involves the return of Timothy Dalton as Rassilon, I'm all for it.

"You can't tell the difference in 1080 and 720 in a 32", despite what everyone talking about Resolutiongate might say." — only if he's sitting more than 5 feet away, and _only_ when playing movies. If he games on that shit, he _will_ notice.

except the plot of the game doesn't seem to involve console wars _or_ Brack Friday Bundurus. Now I'm not sure if I'm gonna pick it up next year.

Holy shit, where have you people been during the wall-to-wall noise of Tennant fangirls braying "Ruined Forever"? I've felt alone all this time in my preference for Moffat's run.

The word you're looking for is "verisimilitude".

I'd agree with you, if it weren't for the fact that ABC also produced the brilliant — if short-lived — series The Middleman. Personally, I blame showrunners Jed and Mo Whedon, who were the lead writers for Dollhouse. Everything I hated about that show — forced Whedonisms, plot that didn't seem to go anywhere on an

There's just no defending this show at this point. I wouldn't even be surprised if this episode wasn't even supposed to be related to the new movie, until Feige said, "link that shit up to Thor, STAT!" Then Jed just shrugged his shoulders, shot a throwaway intro to satisfy continuity nerds, then went off on his own

Honestly, it feels very much like Dollhouse: you know you're supposed to like it, but the supposedly witty lines are clumsily delivered, the supposed overarching mystery stretched out too long, and a few decent actors trying their best to keep the damned show afloat.

Oh, I don't disagree that Arrow is good _now_. I just disagree that it was good _earlier_.

What I meant was, from my personal opinion, Arrow's first 5 episodes went downhill so fast I just had to give up. The fight scenes were ok, the DC references and world-building were decent, but everything else in between was CW horrible.

Hopefully in the interim he loses an eye _and_ the Kiwi accent.

Nothing at all about minding one's surroundings? It's a direct quote from Batman Begins!

It's about as bad as Arrow's first season. Well, almost: I quit Arrow by the fifth episode or so. This show is actually starting to get better.

But Marvel didn't even set those expectations, did they? In fact, their pitch was basically Item No. 47, and Coulson's other one-shots.

Because that's where Loki stabbed the LMD?
