“Uhhh... Nice truck, sorry about your dick.”
“Uhhh... Nice truck, sorry about your dick.”
I saw the header image on twitter and was like “this is a torch post, look at that crazy truc...” and then recoiled in horror at the fact that it wasn’t really shopped much at all.
They know who their target market is: Men with small penises.
That is not exactly true. If you look at some of the recent reporting on private prisons, the idea that the work is voluntary is farce. Yes, you can say they have the right to refuse, but when the alternative is solitary, reduced meals and no access to healthcare, it is hard to make the argument that they are not…
Interestingly, there’s a comment above from somebody who actually owns a Model S and hasn’t so far had issues.
Ok, good for you.
My work carpool is seven people and three dogs and I live in an apartment. So this won’t work for me.
Never had a problem with the handles on my S. Although its only been through 1 winter.
Won’t work for me either - I need to tow my single-wide 75 foot trailer across state lines every few months.
you act like we are paragons of virtue with regards to supply chains and environmental non-protections.
Sorry my daily commuter is 436 miles. This wont work.
American racist prison industrial complex is willing to take on that challenge! We’ll make seasoning your chicken illegal and sentence you to 8 year terms on the assembly line!
I keep hearing the same refrain that soon, the Chinese will dominate the electric car market. Here’s what actually happened: Volvo moved to China, started Polestar, and we now have the Polestar 2, a brilliant electric car... made by the Chinese.
Yea and are we going to skip right over the part where they promised 520+ miles per charge? C&D managed to get 420+ miles out of a 402 mile rated Model S doing cruise control at 65mph. It will be the longest range of any electric car.
The Lucid Air doesn’t exist either and while I agree they probably highly tweaked this to beat all of the Air’s stats (exactly 520+ miles > 517 miles is too suspicious), this is just an iteration on their existing car so the Plaid has a higher chance of existing in 2022. The main announcement is the improvement in the…
Anyone who’s paid any attention to my commenting history knows that I’m as EV skeptical as anyone, but a claimed 500+ mile range from Tesla (as opposed to vaporware like Lucid) has my attention.
No fanboy but the Lucid Air Dream is $169k which is $30k more for a slower car from an unproven OEM. Wouldn’t buy either but the Plaid is the better option.
Still cheaper than a Porsche Taycan?
I don’t see why... Low center of gravity and tons of torque with AWD would make for a very fast track car. Also, they revealed that it does 1:30.3 on Laguna Seca, which is a hell of a time around a technical track.
