I don’t want to sound like I’m doubting your knowledge, as I don’t know your background and I have a different engineering background than EE. So please correct me if I’m wrong.
The Tesla system does not have sensing diversity
Seriously, the “X killer” is so overused. Hopefully at least in this case it will stop being a thing just like all those “iPhone killer” headlines we used to get every time a new Android phone came out.
First, you fu**ing learn to only mind your fu**ing, useless business.
“Goddamn that shit has gotten old.”
So in order of decreasing accuracy, the title could be:
“Or it could be part of the lane assist program as that is also 15*”
“He’ll never be [...] a substantial tax payer”
I get your point but chances are the Canadian market will get a different deal if VW decides to go that route, since the cash/buyback deal was done with a US government agency and applies to the US market only.
You just compared wildly different implementations (applications, development phases and results) with one blanket statement as though they are all the same. Kind of like saying: what’s the big deal with the F-35 program, (others) have already developed the Cessna 172 in less time.
Yes, forget the incredibly complex software that you can’t see in a picture. What matters is the irrelevant hardware it controls.
Let me google that for you:
And you say this from personal expertiese and experience?
“then turned off Autopilot when he didn’t respond to it’s demands to grab the steering wheel”
Except the logs would show the time delay between autopilot being disengaged after hitting the breaks and the collision. Additional contextual information being provided by the camera feed.
You might be thinking of rare earth elements. Chile is the biggest producer currently, Bolivia has a lot and Nevada in the US has large amounts. Pretty much look for places with salt planes and you’ll get lithium. Lots of.
Lithium is not a rare element, we are talking about 20ppm when looking at the Earth’s crust. Like asking if there isn’t enough nickel for everyone, at 80ppm (if I remember correctly).
“And how many gallons of fuel burnt to mine Lithium for the batteries”
“If it makes you feel any better, you only get the tax credit for the kids if you make less than $75k/year.Which in some places is less than the median, and in many places is less than you need to live comfortably with children.”
