Major problem is that small diameter thin stainless tube welded or soldered to relatively thick flange on one side and press on sleeve on the other is very probable failure point. Infamous Subaru oil pickup tube looks like this one. Another thing is flat 2-bolt flange connecting high pressure line to oil cooler. There

I tried to compose small article and share it to Oppo, but was too lazy to finish it. Anyway, this is what I wanted to write about:

Believe me, it’s titanium. There were total ~6 different classes of Soviet ‘titanium’ submarines, and most of them were pretty big (except project 941 aka Typhon, it’s not big, it’s freaking huge)

Let us all welcome the return of bike turbocharging. Boost controllers, downpipes, big turbo swaps, melted pistons, bent rods - all that (cagers’) stuff is coming to average bike enthusiast

Only figuratively speaking,

that sapphire blue, while not that similar to WR Blue, still makes me want to add gold BBS rims and STI logo on the rear lid)) Manual transmission is all I want from the options list

All good, except bad landing on asphalt sucks a lot more than bad landing on dirt.

No one mentioned BMW? Are you kidding me? Chopping that crappy looking .. emm.. thing off X6 and that’s it! (I have zero photoshop skills so can’t show the result)

Thanks, that’s sure a defintive answer

If model names count, then Subaru sure beats Evo here

Lindsay, since you’re the same size/weight as me, I’d love to hear more about ergonomics in general. Like is the bike good for 3-4 hour road trips?

MT-03 is 660cc single, so Yamaha need to invent different name now. Also it’s interesting to see how this new bike will be priced, because when I called dealers few months ago asking about R3, they all told me there is no R3 in stock, but I can get leftover 2014 MT-07 (FZ-07) for roughly the same price

Theoretically at 4400ft it has to be about 15% loss of ‘sea level power’ for NA, and some negligible amount for turbo

They’re more like curators

That’s cute, they can hit targets standing in biathlon-like shooting range. But in real battle tank crews had to shoot on the move

Early EJ from Subaru, for sure

Not to mention SL500, XK8 and base 911 (sure, it’s different class, but price wise it was competitor) had around 300hp back then.

Drinking coffee while riding sounds perfect))

These numbers aren’t entirely true. ‘Some’ planes accounted as operational are cannibalized for parts, for years. There are other factors decreasing number of ready to fly planes, so RuAF fleet size is big secret now

There must be good cars price conservation law in this universe. I.e. when R32 price goes up in Japan, air-cooled Porsche values rapidly drop down somewhere in Europe. Oh please, let it work that way))
