Bolivian cartel are uniformly violence-crazed drug addicts

So, how much of this game did you play? Because nearly everything you said here betrays a fundamental lack of understanding of things the game lays out obviously. For instance - the Cartel aren’t Bolivian - they’re a Mexican cartel, hence why they all speak with a Mexican accent.

Or the radio? It’s staffed by a guy the

The script was clearly written by a Law and Order SVU writer.

In the red corner, we have the man-children/actual children who populate r/KotakuInAction weighing in at a combined 37 pallets of Mountain Dew.

I’m gonna give you a star for the sole reason that you’re the first person I’ve seen in over a year (including in my workplace) to use “intents and purposes” correctly.

It’s not rude. Expecting a professional journalist to read through their article a single time to make sure that auto correct hasn’t misnamed a sexual assault victim as “Lesion” is not out of line.

I can see how many of the typos/mistakes can sneak past a spellcheck, but how does this slip by?

Thanks, I was going to point out the same. There’s random incomplete sentences all over the place.

I know it’s been mentioned before too that Jezebel is really short-staffed right now, so maybe that’s part of it.

Good point! I don’t Deadspin, so I’m not familiar with her, but that would make total sense. I’m sure that’s what it is.

Yep. On this one and the other article from earlier. I totally get errors and lack in proofreading, it happens to me a lot! It’s just that as Senior Writer at Deadspin, I guess I expect more.

I had the same issue - the many errors made it hard to keep reading.

There are a couple of odd sentences.

Diana, I’m not trying to be rude, but you really need to brush up on your proofreading skills.

“his gaze down toward the table or the floor. telling her politely that she can’t say anything unless it is in response to a question”- I think there’s something missing in this sentence

It’s not about the conscious process. There’s some logic to incentivizing people to explore healing in the first place, to make it more fun and encouraging to play healers so that people have motivation besides simply winning. Winning isn’t a good motivator if the key to winning isn’t enjoyable, right?

Overwatch doesn’t even have a kick mechanic. You clearly have a lot of experience with this.

Not to mention you have the problem of not being able to adjust to the other teams comp. A good Reaper could mop the floor with mediocre tanks and sometimes you often just run into someone who is just plain better than you in your class and have to adjust to counter them.

This is a seriously massive problem with the idea of role-based queues. Sure, I can pick tank, but tank in what composition? Triple tank? Quad tank? You can’t fragment the queues across current viable metas, and you can’t pick metas today that are viable tomorrow.  The Overwatch team likely doesn’t want to control the

I think another complication is that they’d have to enforce a pre-made composition. 2Tanks, 2 DPS and 2 Supports is a safe comp but isn’t always the best in all situations. So yeah you’d get to play your preferred role but then we’re at the whims of the developers to choose for us what the best composition is.
