Why put your opinion out there at all for something you don’t care about? Don’t put this on other people for continuing a conversation about something they do profess to care about that you chose to start, that’s why there’s a reply button.

This is the stupidest god damned controversy ever...If you’re offended by this shit, you’re a dork and need to get a life.
This is the second time you’ve responded to me directly about something you claim you do not care about. It’s not about time and energy, it’s about time and energy you could spend doing literally anything that you do claim to care about
If it’s so trivial, why is it worth your time to comment at all? Why even click the article in the first place?
You’re offended by the idea of someone else being offended, if they’re “dorks that need to get a life” already what does trying to insert yourself to that perceived controversy make you?
If it was Donnie, I hope Gaetz is next to get a subpoena
Oh look, a corporation decided making sure that a role in the community and a measure of financial security and independence is provided for people with disabilities wasn’t profitable anymore. But as long as the shareholders are happy it’s all fine
It’s that kind of “I would like to spend my money and time on something I enjoy” entitlement that really drags the community down. What about the silent majority of players who just want to be told that they’re having fun and if they aren’t feeling it they should buy some armor cosmetics?
Edge of Tomorrow is a great video game movie, it only needs a video game
This is the second time I’ve made this point on kinja today, but Gita Jackson wrote a thing that said “the only way to win is to not play.” I think more people are realizing that and staying out of user comment sections, and their absence makes the trolls seem that much louder
If I start explaining why it matters, I know I’ve already ceded to the notion that it might not. The only winning move, it seems, is not to play.
Politics isn’t genetic though, there are many people who reject their parents’ or childhood community’s politics. They just tend to move to a different area that’s more tolerant of their beliefs once that happens
I’m thinking more Linus from Peanuts “If we stay in this right-wing pumpkin patch no matter how dark it gets, the Make America Great Pumpkin will come! You’ll see, you’ll all see”
We have such a meme obsessed culture, but there’s no easy shorthand for “guy who blames everyone but himself for his behavior, then ends encouraging no one in particular to look in the mirror for the real culprit.” I blame everyone but myself for that shortcoming
Why not go drama and aim for Oscar gold? A Mother’s Love: Tears of a Cubone would sweep every major category
My point is it’s possible have an opinion on a movie without putting words in other people’s mouths. I feel like that’s something defensive people do when they know their overall point is unexamined but want to make it anyway, otherwise why invent a strawman to represent the people who disagree when there should be…
“I would love it if one day I came across a positive article about stockyards. Maybe something about how they are feeding the world, lowering the distance between the haves and have-nots, while keeping prices lower than they have ever been possible for meat. Everyone pretends to hate it but everyone eats it. Can’t we…
I feel like deciding that 90% of the people who disagree with you actually hold ulterior political motives that they aren’t voicing, but are instead using their opinion of a movie to signal to others their personal belief systems, is ex-fucking-actly what you spent the rest of your comment decrying
Hey Hollywood, the rambling boomer Facebook replies are coming from inside the house
On the one hand he’s a racist idiot who doesn’t know what he’s talking about (shootings are concentrated on the South and West neighborhoods, because most of the policing concentrates on a containment strategy to keep crime away from downtown and out of headlines).
