I was playing with some friends recently when NMS came to xbox game pass, on one of my trips to a system’s space station I was pulled aside by pirates as you often are. I literally just finished a play through on the PC version thanks to XBOX Game Pass, still an amazing game even if the port wasn’t the best.

I think it’s more a case of allowing it to die.

I played STW for a long time, was one of the first to beat Storm King (with pin to prove it!) but took a break since. The game was really fun and had a lot of promise, it’s a shame BR basically killed it by being more popular but what can you do? I was hoping to go back one day when they finished the storyline but now…

This saddens me.

I love Larian as a studio, the Divinity series is amazing. Can’t wait for Baldur’s Gate III!

You’re not alone, I was thinking this the whole time. I was waiting for them to show someone turning into a wireframe model or something.

I had the same thought

It felt like an offline MMORPG, laborious side-quests included. But I did like the world and style.

From the video they’re called ‘mojangs’, characters which will probably come in to play elsewhere. During the transitions it looks like they can morph into japanese(?) characters too. I get where you’re coming from but I think the design will end up making more sense whenever Mojang does what they seem to be planning…

I love how a few people at the top taking 50% pay cuts can cover the wages of their entire operations.

That’s the reason I opened the article, hoping to see something about that. I guess I can wait now with FF7R on the way to keep me busy.
