The navy in their infinite wisdom made the gun not compatible with the standard NATO 155 artillery rounds. I believe the breech (and rounds) are slightly longer than the standard rounds so they can’t easily be adapted to work in it.

No, because selling cars to people is not illegal. The bottom line is that the makers don’t give a shit as long as the money is green, it’s a business so Always Be Closing. They can also pay premium(i’m told) for these cars so it’s just more money for them.
