I’ve had people cosplay my alternate costume designs for various popular characters, and that’s a pretty incredible feeling, and I imagine that this would feel pretty great too! Makes me want to participate (although I haven’t drawn anything seriously for months... fuck grad school.)

My nightmare

I’m having intestinal issues at the moment and I live in fear of my MD saying, “Well, I think we need to do a CT scan.” I have a 45 minute commute with very few opportunities for bathroom breaks.

I’m a biology grad student. I know that birds are animals. I said that in a snarky way precisely because I thought that it was silly to separate them.

Go hiking in the San Juan islands! No large predators there (except for people’s dogs, I guess). Also, they’re pretty nice for hiking.

Girls don’t necessarily see flirting when it’s happening. I certainly never did when my now-civil union partner was flirting with me early on. He had to tell me he was. It really depends on the intensity and style of flirtation.
