Yeah, my partner and I have never really celebrated it either. I’d much rather celebrate something like “I have no grading this week!” or “No more RNA extractions!” on a regular day. There’s a Japanese restaurant near the train station that I’ve been wanting to try....

I am very tired and so am drinking the first cup of tea made from a loose-leaf black tea blend that my lovely parents got me for Christmas. It is quite tasty and will probably mess up my sleep schedule cause I’m having it so late, oh well.
