some guy said it below but it has to do with balance. I believe v4's are inherently unbalanced and the inline configuration is much more so. Crankshaft probably needs less counterweights too.

Two were broken, Instead of spending 500 each time for a new one, swap them out for pss9 with lifetime warranty.

4 shocks would be 2k and you halfway there.

Give it a try, I drove around a 6 speed m5 for many years. Its refreshing to be able to just mash the pedal and go. Go and drive one and see how effortless it gets up there.

M5 is way cheaper to maintain, I think I spent 3k over 6 years. I’ve had my e55 for 1 year and Im already 4k deep.
