I work for Hertz. The program is called “Rent-to-Buy”! The only cars I would be cautious of would be the hot rods ( the Hemi Chargers, Challengers, Mustang Gt’s, and Camaro SS) we had quite a few renters that thought they were drag racers, and NASCAR drivers.

I think Hertz sales let’s you rent before you buy. So you get a 3 day test drive of the actual car you are considering and it’s free if you do end up buying

At least rental use shows up in the records. I’d be much more concerned about prior Uber / Lyft use, which is next to impossible to discern. Makes shopping for a used Prius a highly fraught experience.

Shame on the service manager for allowing that to happen. I work at a Subaru dealership, and that kind of behavior is discouraged. Techs have been fired for hooning/running into parked cars/etc...

And today on Kotaku.... Co-Dependency

LW1) How is she making you feel? Do you want to let her make you feel certain ways? I’d let go of trying to put a label on her. What you describe sounds like a codependent relationship. You can leave, but that’s not the only way. You can create boundaries - these are to protect you, not punitive rules for her. Things

I couldn't imagine thinking the Spurs choke in the playoffs, unless you're referring to some soccer team

That post made my head spin back when it came out. And the COMMENTS. They mostly boil down to “lol he deserved it” and “women can’t hurt men so it’s okay.”

Seriously. All I could think was, how is it possible for someone to write all that shit out, probably read and reread it several times before having to send it, and still have any doubt about what’s happening to them?

Wanna know something crazy? The site rehired her after she got fired from Vice for creating a hostile work environment. That’s right, she crossed lines at Vice, which is notorious for being a toxic place to work.

What the shit

It’s...not the best feminist-focused site out there, that’s for sure.

I know when you’re not in a given relationship the objective frame of reference makes things look simpler than they are to the people involved...but holy shit, LW2

That right there is a good example as to why I generally avoid Jezebel like the plague. The hypocrisy is beyond cringeworthy.

Iuno, I feel like you would get the same answers on Jezebel today as well. At least from a decent number of people. But that is the difference between a professional in dating related psychology and an amateur with an agenda.

Don’t call women crazy except when they’re crazy like the one in the second letter.

Agreed. This is some xo jane level awful

It is bananas that this post, in this tone specifically, exists.

"Yes, please, let's not forget the poor men, who make up a whopping 15% of the domestic violence victims (nonsarcastic saide: this includes situations in which the violence is mutual, or the woman used violence in response to violence), who are far less likely to be hurt by domestic violence given the differences in
