Sienna is the best road trip car I have ever used but the seats could be a little better up front.

Have a friends with 3, they adopted a 4th, sold the CX-9 and went straight for the E250 with the captains chairs. Road trips are great cause everyone has their own seat and they can tow most any thing. But when I bring up the CX-9, he laments getting rid of it.

Took a 12h trip in a K car when I was a kid with 4. Wanted to throw my self out the door by hour 4.

If they can buckle themselves I vote CX-9 but I have never been happier with a vehicle than the Sienna. The newest one in the fam is a 14 so I cannot speak for the transmission issues of the new one.
