“Please buckle up, the world can’t lose you”

455 68 Firebird for 4k, it needed nothing. While I am not a Pony/Muscle car kind of guy it was a great deal and would have been fun.

I am guessing that cars are so fast now that you need the shorter distance before cars start becoming 300mph+ flying shrapnel.

Compared to the mustang and AE-86, very. Its an inch longer than a 95 extended wheel base Caravan.

That’s what I was point out, that he had no idea the cops were after him until he was shot.

It was kind of perfect. Smaller than a average SUV, little bigger than a regular hatchback, proportions were right to make it look sharp and wasn’t a bad driver. My only gripe was it was a little loud, could have used a little more sound insulation.

How often do you have helicopters flying over?

You are basing this that he knew the cops were after him. When he acts like he is avoiding the police and who ever the police were after.

E-brakes makes it more of a snap, instead of the nice progressive slide out you get when rolling on the power. Plus its an Accord and its a long bitch to swing out and gather back up. Just don’t get enough snow or does it stay around long enough to get a feel for it.

But you could be hooning it and should be hooning it. Safely of course.

I am in my first FWD\Auto car that I have ever owned and lamenting it. It has snowed a couple of times here this winter and commuting just isn’t as fun.

Huge part is battery technology and how they can be made lighter/more energy dense/safer. Cobalt is key ingredient right now and sources of it are becoming a issue. Slave and child labor mining it seem to make it a poor choice.

I really don’t know but I bet longer, wider and shorter by a couple of inches. Maybe a lot longer.

It calls to tighten up the suspension and solo the shit out of it.

I only care out of curiosity. So I did a quick search to answer my own question and C&D reported in 2016 that it was 74% lease Maserati’s. What I found stranger is that it was 80% for Smart.

Hello fellow ‘I learned to drive on an Jeep Comanche w/o power steering’! Mine was a base bottom 87, the suspension was incredibly stiff and the wheel feed back made it super easy to hoon. My dad replaced the tires with some meatier ones with taller side walls and it kinda ruined the fun.

When my dad had his Superformance Cobra delivered by an expensive covered company (Trailer full of Ferrari’s and Lambo’s). The driver was so methed up I don’t see how he kept it together to pull the car off. He was shaking unsecuring it.

So dry I had to read it twice. Excellent work.

BEFORE THEY ARE ALL CRUSHED BY THE MILLENNIALS THAT DON”T CARE ABOUT THESE CLASSICS!

If FCA was smart (its debatable) they would bring it back in 5-10 years as a limited production car like the Ford GT. I guess we will have to find out what the new Chinese owners will think about that plan.

And yet Project Slow Devil, the dilapidated Jeep I bought from a farm in rural Michigan, somehow made it 1,300 miles on its quest for the Easter Jeep Safari in Utah before breaking down in western Kansas.
