Its hard not to hate.

Everything else fades and cracks. Alcantara disintegrates or gets that gross human oil slick sheen. I don’t hate it but it just doesn’t age gracefully. 

I had a rental Mazda 3 and the over sized chrome emblem on the steering wheel seemed to catch the sun from any angle and shine right back in my eyes. Thank god for gaffers tape. This started my dislike for chrome.

The breaking performance was terrible too. I think it was one of the worst C&D had tested at that time.

Dakota size was in between compact and full size. Only the Jeep Comanche was about the same.

There are levels to the white too. That never struggled, never left their white privileged bubble. Like a mixed neighborhood is the same as going to the moon.

I have never had a drive way where the pad in the garage was not at least 1/4 higher. Making in difficult to push a riding lawn mover in with out a good head of steam, let alone dolly wheels.

Wife is on a quest to down size and has been looking at condos. I am digging my heals in. Even condo garages usually suck.

Its something I was never interested in either, I hate a crowded theater. These new theaters with big recliners and reserved seating had me going again. Its a great communal experience.

Sold my first car that I bought, 96 Mustang GT and kept for 15 years to a guy I know from HS. He gave it to his dad who, gave it a respray and replaced the worn suspension. I see it in town every so often and I pine for it for a second but then remember its not the car I really want any more. I really just want RWD…

I respect this but also sad of the situation she is in. I am over joyed that they took it easy on her.

Couldn’t you squeeze another 55hp out of its original engine? I enjoy a nice swap but this does not seem worth the gain. A STI-ed one used to come down my street all the time, it is a cool looking baby hauler\grocery getter.
