The Capitol has been domeless ever since it was refitted with Superliner cars. It does have a Superliner lounge which has windows that wrap around to the roof. Just isn’t the same tho.

Many years back (‘89 IIRC) I rode in a dome westbound on Amtrak’s Capitol Limited from DC to Pittsburgh. Crossing the Allegenies west of Cumberland, with an adult beverage in my hand, on a moonlight evening, was sooooooooooo relaxing. Sure wish they still ran domes on the Capitol...
