What’ll matter around these parts (n.e. Ohio) is whether or not the bed actually exists when a given pickup reaches that status. Having seen many, many trucks with their steel boxes falling off I’ll bet the aluminum Ford box will still be structurally intact. Had to beat on a pickup box that’s perforated with rust.

Yea, a beat-up 10 year old pickup. Trust me, no one does that to their brand new one.

I saw 2 F15o XL 4x2, 3.5l NA trucks on a lot over the weekend, both stickered @ $21.8k. VERY plain-jane basic trucks.

Don’t be so sure. I’ve never had a bad experience in the South, everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY, that I’ve run across in my travels down south have been pleasant to a man (or woman as the case may be). And, for the record, I’m a life-long born and bred n.e. Ohioan.
