This is a great answer that could be repeated to every existing and new player in the league.

Thankfully young men think they are invincible. Because when Deion asked him what it was like to get announced by Shazier, the only appropriate answer was “What are the job prospects for a Comm major?”

I’d be interested to see data on whether this is true or not. Wonder if anyone has looked at this.

Many times this season, I’ve surfed my way into a game, be it regular season or now the playoffs. Many times, I’ve had no idea who the teams are based on the jerseys. I had to take a few seconds to orient who was who based on the box score colors.

You make an excellent point. That LeBron is so underpaid as a casualty of the max contact that he is out there nailing clutch shots on the playoffs is a testament to his competitive spirit. Completely agree.

Why would you presume that Kawhi would stick around Cleveland?

Terrible take.

I just hope one day LeBron can unlock that elusive clutch gene, so that his game can be complete.

I for one want my athletes doped to the max. I don’t care if their blood has been entirely replaced by saber-tooth tiger semen and meth. As long as everyone is doing everything in their power, legal and illegal, to win, then it’s still a fair competition.

Reads up until “mask”

I wonder if he used ONE WEIRD TRICK TO LOWER HIS TAX PENALTY. AUDITORS HATE HIM!!!

I’m of the opinion that LeBron is reasonably the second best player of all time. I also think you can make a reasonable argument of him being the best ever (not that I’d agree with it, but there are not-outlandish arguments to be made). That said:

You ever have a dream where you’re trying to run but it’s like you’re trying to move through oatmeal, or doing some athletic feat but nothing is working the way you know it should? Derrick Rose has been living that waking nightmare for half a decade now. It’s just that the early part of his career is what he dreams

He may be a shambling corpse at this point, but my gosh will he energetically clap his hands and look fired up on defense while his opponent easily breezes by him for a marginally contested layup.

Explains why he was having trouble seeing the plate.

As you say, he’s still young. Jurickson’s still out on whether his career will turn around. No saying how Profar his career can go.

I was at a client dinner, said client being Canada-based, last week. Located in Vancouver. One of the people from the client from an immigrant from SE Asia. It was a surprisingly non-PC conversation, with items being discussed on their end that would have ended my tenure with my company many times over by the end of

Thoughts:

So do we downplay the winners’ success because so many elite runners dropped out/didn’t race, or do we highlight their capability to thrive in adverse conditions, while wondering if the elite racers inability to handle said conditions says something about their training/capabilities. I have no idea, I don’t follow

Most left in LeBron’s wake, as the passage of time groans on, end up being downgraded or out and out forgotten to the annuls of history. But Spoelstra’s stock rises a little every year we get further from him coaching LeBron. During his tenure with the Heat, I thought he was an okay coach. But by now, I’m thinking
