So true. There is a whoooooole lot of nothing between Salt Lake City and Reno. And that stretch of I-80 between Omaha and Cheyenne is so boring that even Jack Kerouac had nothing to say about it.

i dont believe you. and neither does physics
Agreed. There are a lot of roads out west where the speed limit sign should just say “consult your owner’s manual”.
Depends. My E350 diesel actually gets the best mileage at about 93mph. Range at that speed would be around 880 miles
Yeah but the insurance would cost you as much as the car payment in Michigan!
It’s the ole’ saying, “You can outrun all the cars but you cannot outrun a Motorola.”
Hold my beer.
Well.. it’s a halo car..
I think it depends on how it happened. If the officer was simply racing to catch up, hit the limit, looked down and realized how fast he was going and backed off...understandable. Still dangerous but easy to see how that could happen.
I thought he was an Accord man.
You can’t outrun the radio.
Jesus took the wheel, and apparently didn’t do that great a job of it.
MY CAR, MY STREET, MY AIR PEW PEW PEW
Careful to not cut yourself on that edge.
I like to think they have a government agency dedicated to this one task. They could call it the Ministry of Insurance Assurance.
All I can say is... Ooooof! And thanks for your service.
For real. I have an ‘85 CJ with pretty basic coverage for $900 a year and its worth like...40 bucks (to the insurance company).
Damn. My 8-year-old Flex is around half of that here in Denver. And clean record, 48 years old, good credit, etc. Also with State Farm, so there’s that factor. But $2,500 for a car worth 20 times what mine is in L.A. doesn’t sound all that bad.
lot of AMG’s on the expensive list. not surprised. i have a perfect driving record and my AMG GTS costs about $2500 a year to insure in LA, and thats with my heavily discounted USAA insurance
