What city is this....for errrmmm research purposes of course

I totally agree, but she is a very stubborn woman. Getting her to do anything is like getting a working Congress

Definitely a problem behind the steering wheel. It’s used fairly consistently, not as far as it should be though, it’s an 03 S, with 31,789 miles.....

It has lunched 4 batteries. And I didn’t know if it was easy not hard seeing she refuses to let anyone but Porsche to wrench the retched thing. If it’s easy then sure not retarded. But not an ideal place when the car repeatedly drains it’s battery.

My grandmother had one, the electric gremlins and the retarded battery under the passenger seat....it’s a shitshow. But omg it flies.

Looks too small for me......I really want to fit in a sports car from Japan that isn’t a Datsun GT-R 😡

That idea definitely crossed my mind. I was considering the C5/6 for sure. I’d be able to pull off the ZO6 for either, but that wasn’t a main concern honestly, I really just want a car that can handle. The Corvette has always proven that. Along with a reliable LS engine. I am also looking lower end price wise. Older

That makes perfect sense. Still, seems like a risk definitely worth taking. The sound of that M5 is so awesome. We have 2 Dr’s at my job with an E92 M3 and that E60 M5 and that sound when they both pull in is sooo awesome.

I applaud you. My height keeps me away from true sports cars. Such as Boxster/Cayman, SL, Golf GTI/R so on and so forth. But I can fit in a 2 door civic.... So my faster cars are usually American cars such as Mustang and Challenger. (Camaro is too small weirdly)

I think in the age of track car every care we have forgotten that simply enjoying a pillow ride in a Cadillac, Lincoln, Oldsmobile and all the other 70-80 decade cars that were all about space, and long distance comfort and not destroying every single back road. I would love to get this vintage Lincoln and just relax.

Thanks for the Frank advice. The E90 was on my mind thanks to speedhunters.

Really takes some anxiety away. I am glad you told me all of that. I was pretty sure most of the forum problems were due to not following the maintenance schedule. Especially with an engine with such tight tolerances. I can accept the running costs, especially the specific Castrol oil. Vanos sensors are a concern for

I definitely plan on it. I grew up around the long and luxurious cars America made. I’d like to get something like this for drives where sporty doesn’t matter. Like road trips!

Yikes, I’d really like an M car. Preferably E92 M3 or the E60 M5 like you have. May I ask what sent your car to the shop?

Is it that unreliable?

I actually plan on buying one!

What, if any problems has the car given? I really really really want some sort of M car, leaning toward the E92 V8 M. But this is definitely the second choice. And seriously, your story is an amazing story!! I’m glad everything worked out.

You....I like you.
