Don’t blame this on capitalism. All wealth that has been created, rather than simply found, since the dawn of humanity has been created by capitalism in one form or another. And capitalism does not include slavery. It is based on mutually beneficial and voluntary transactions.

This country is not responsible for all of the evil that goes on within it. There are evil people everywhere. But we have laws that at least attempt to stop them. Sure, we can do a better job. But we do better than most. I know. I have traveled internationally, a lot.
