Drove for 12 years in a RHD country, moved to the US and had to adjust. You punch the door a few times from muscle memory but it goes away fast.

I’m originally from Australia and I would love to see us switch from beef to kangaroo/wallaby as a primary red meat source (but still at significantly reduced levels than current). The reduction in environmental cost would be huge I would imagine.

My mistake, I got the two conversation threads conflated and it was the OP who said kale.

The episode of the Australian series You Can’t Ask That about suicide attempt survivors is so important for this. It’s very challenging to sit through and watch it but so, so important.

The one guy had his entire town meet up to talk about what to do with him because they were extremely concerned about his well-being,

Oh, I didn’t realise that you were talking purely about how it makes you feel, but I guess I should have expected that when your only alternative to beef is kale. Note that I said eat less meat, not eliminate. You can still have your steak.

I can’t find a link to that specific Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me episode to listen to. I did find plenty of peer reviewed papers that say the total opposite though.

Please provide evidence if you want to call it clearly wrong.

Making use of discarded lawn equipment definitely has its benefits, unless they are two stroke still.

This fucking defeatist attitude is one of the reasons why the rich and powerful don’t give a shit. Sigh.

It is absolutely more efficient and environmentally friendly to do anything that isn’t beef.

I miss my M235i. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned and the only one that I truly miss very regularly, nearly two years later.

Thank you for answering my very important question.

Why does the GLI have blinking brake lights as indicators but the other models have separate, amber indicators?

There was an episode of The Skid Factory a little while ago where he blew up a brand new turbo from not putting the housing snap ring back in correctly. Several thousand dollars down the drain. Turbo Yoda’s response when being asked why he wasn’t more upset?

It’s just a car bro.

Sadly VW are dragging their feet with the electric Passat wagon they showed the concept of a few years back.

*Wrangler rage intensifies*

People where I live in the US would just ignore them. People will line up on the wrong side of the road to wait to turn left (ie line up before the turn lane exists).

People stop in the middle of streets for 30-60mins a time with their hazards on, park on the wrong side of the street opposite an open space because it’s

Current issue with the GM platform used for Silverado/Tahoe etc is that the body is too tall vertically AND the track width always seems too narrow so it looks like the body is 10% too big for the chassis.

We need to spread these attendants around the whole country.

The old don’t want to pay people and then are surprised when people don’t want the job problem.
