Agreed, he linked chains with the occasional ski trip which is common practice.

Excluding OE fitment for Japanese manufacturers.
Also I know you specifically said car, but I wanted to make sure people also understood that Dunlop Motorcycle in the US is owned by Sumitomo too.
I’m not criticising, just adding detail for those who would like to know.
I had something similar to that too. I think the fucker took 16 AA batteries. Rechargeable batteries were the best investment ever for RC cars.
This is what clutch pedals are for. You can’t stop the engine if I never put the car in neutral, foot of clutch and handbrake on.
Though to be fair to my old 235, it did remember that you switched start stop off.
Goodyear owns some Dunlop, Sumitomo owns some Dunlop. The split between the two is not exactly clean since the ending of the joint agreement in 2016. Sumitomo’s primary US brand is Falken.
Wait, 3-5" a year? Ottawa gets 70" of snow per year. Where I live gets 90" per year. This is why he is talking winter tires.
Then Mighty Car Mods can sue Elon for billions.
On the plus side, if it was warmer it would be worse as unless you’re Canadian or meet the criteria you can’t cross the border from the US to Canada.
*signed someone who lives on the border and would just like to go for a day trip.
Totally understandable. Pilot Super Sports will do okay in dry ~30F temperatures. Less successful if the snow accumulates in to slush...
I live in Buffalo and daily drove my M235i year round. 6MT/RWD made every commute so much fun.
Buffalo here. I got about 6" of dense snow/sleet/ice which was annoying to shovel from my driveway before 7am, but got to work without much drama. 55mph on the highway the whole way. Had an iced coffee this morning too.
Predictability it king. In Vietnam you could walk straight across a road that was 20 lanes of scooters and as long as you kept a steady pace and didn’t vary, the river flowed around you. Same as if you were on in traffic and you needed to turn, just make steady progress, no sudden movements and it works out.
Depends on what fast stat you look at. The LFA does *reads article* 0-9000rpm in 0.6s.
The Hellcat does 0-9000rpm... never.
jb21 summed it up best. Some things are worth more than their statistics.
If they obsessed over every detail you think they would have put the window on the rear curved section in the same place as the original. Instead they cheated by putting it on the one section of metal, rather than across two.
And at $200k I am absolutely allowed to nitpick about this kind of detail.
I’m just glad someone actually noticed and pointed out the convertible Evoque! Seems like the most important part of the press release to me.
So, you decided to apportion fake blame to draw attention to yourself? Is a Torchinsky 2024 presidential bid under way?
Ugh.
Interesting. All the Audi’s I’ve seen on the road have red sweeping where the standard indicator is and the brake light on that side also blinks.
BMW SUVs are bad at this too, they just blink the brake lights and the indicator section is perpetually unlit. I remember noticing it a lot last time I was back home in 2019…
By linking leather to meat you aren’t necessarily doing it any favours. The world already consumes too much meat, and a reduction in the consumption would have significant environmental impact.
I know. I get that there are (severely outdated) regulations on the size of the indicator and that restricts brands like Audi from using a sweeping indicator only, but what I don’t understand is why they don’t just make the whole thing go on and instead make them red, keep the sweeping and make the brake lights blink…
Or you know, you could just let people buy cars at MSRP (pending any current sales) without having to negotiate a deal. Online even if they wish.
