Why are we comparing a new, 718 Boxster to a 26 year old Jaguar again?

I too often think of old South Park when I see something like that.

ME checking in, have worked in unionised manufacturing my whole life. Here with factory automation, cameras and reporting, you can track how much you are being fucked so easily it’s shameful. No one does anything about it of course because everyone is afraid of the union.

I have worked in other union plants where I

Just put that part on that machine! It’s no big deal, what is it, like four, maybe five bolts tops?

Ugh.

I’ll wait until 22021 if it lets me live that long.

A Fit Si with manual, LSD and the 1.5T would truly be a great car. Just jam Civic Si parts in there, charge $20k for it and be done.

It’s already been happening in places that have been obeying by the rules and that are in flu season:

Test drove a brand new 2.0T Accord manual and felt that it drove like a hot mess. Too much power for an open differential with all season tyres, pedal placement was horrible and the shift quality was surprisingly vague. Was going to buy a new, manual Mazda3 but ended up with a Civic Si.

I would have bought the Accord

Still too soon.

America’s Niva.

I dropped my 10mm while using a couple of extensions and a swivel to get the last nut off my old E30's intake manifold. Fell down and rolled on top of the gearbox under the firewall.

I still got that fucker back though.

It’s more than you can afford pal, it’s a pelican.

In an alternate reality, we would be asking how an 11 year old cares about climate change but fully functioning adults don’t.

Incorrect. My work shut down for three weeks at the end of April due to local pressure and poor news reports ahead of the planned spike in local cases. We have been back and have had several confirmed cases. They even communicated to everyone that we had our first week of all employees being COVID symptom free,

True, but then I have to deal with wrap maintenance requirements. Though if I had the disposable income for a $120k wagon, I could probably just tell Audi what I want and have them do it.

In the times we have been ordering curbside pickup from local restaurants, all of them have been very surprised grateful when I keep adding items to the order (normally including a bottle of wine because we all know alcohol is where they actually make money). Then I tip at least 20% which seems to double the surprise.

Agreed, which is why if I could afford an RS6, I would be looking to see if 20s would fit the brakes. Why they bundle the big wheels with the trim black out is beyond me.

I almost bought a B6 S4 Avant almost 10 years back but decided against it when I found out the timing chain had never been maintained. I wanted it so bad, it was Nogaro blue and everything.

You’re right about the trim that doesn’t exist in the US

I just want to configure the black optics package without needing to step up to the 22" wheels. And even that is just to get rid of the silver mustache at the back.
