I see this response in every single article about the show. Morgan Cooper shot a short film with this concept himself a few years back and posted it online. It got a ton of attention and a lot of positive feedback - Will Smith saw it and loved it as well. That’s why this show is being made.

I, too, sorely miss the HDMI passthrough as well as the picture-in-picture functionality. Being able to pull up Redzone on the primary screen and “snap” the ESPN Fantasy app scores to the side of the image was a godsend. 

Even having been lucky enough to get an XSX near launch, I still quite miss the Xbox One’s HDMI pass-through and the ability to use Kinect for voice controls. So take your “Xbox One sucked,” turn it sideways, and cram it in your kiester.
