It seems odd to me to think that there’s no reason to feel a connection to people who go to the same school as you, but some reason to feel a connection to people who play the same video game as you (talk about a transaction), but, hey, agree to disagree.

Case study:

A veteran serving as a police officer was fired for NOT shooting a Black man. As a veteran he had stricter rules of engagement and did not find Mr. Williams’ behavior to be threatening to him or other officers, so he did not shoot. Then he was fired.

Maybe it’s the stories I read, but I remain impressed how the people we train to go overseas and fight can handle this type of shit so easily while cops lose their shit if someone so much as looks at them wrong.

There is never any good reason to pre-order a game. Never.

What you’re paying for is a licesne to copy and run the game code. Whether you’re paying for it as part of an ongoing subscription service, or paying for it in a singular transaction doesn’t change the fact that doing both is paying for that license twice.
