Honestly I feel this.  I like all cars.  I pretty regularly see fancy expensive cars like Porsches and Maseratis--they don’t impress anymore.  But a while back I saw a pristine 90's Trecel.  Honestly it turned my head just for its survivor status.

Depending on which Barret Jackson auction it is, when you’re there at the opening night gala, trying to flex on people, it won’t work. There are people at those auctions that drop 7 and 8 figures on a car. $300,000 doesn’t even get their ear.

The people interested in this are currently driving gaudy, gas-guzzling trucks. If this gets them into an EV, I’m all for it.

True, hitting someone or something in your car in what could conceivably be an accident is basically fine, or maybe a ticket. They just went with standard procedure and forgot to worry about the part where he was already harassing them.

Yeah, I’m sure that is part of it; but I think the bigger part is that the rate drivers are actually held accountable for when they hit pedestrians, cyclists, other cars, buildings, etc is just plain old laughably low.

Their facebook apology does seem contrite compared to most. As a cyclist in the Houston area, I’m still just blown away by the sheer stupidity of it. There are many social rides in that area and a food truck court is the perfect place to stop and fill up.
