I mean... cool?  Definitely a work of engineering ingenuity.  But as much as I love the angularity of the 6000, I can think of about a dozen transplants that would make more sense right off the top of my head.  Why not something turbocharged, to keep the weight distribution closer to factory spec?  ND, because it just

I guess I’m feeling a slight amount of vindication for not letting my guard down. Since my state dropped the mandate, the vast majority of folks no longer see fit to mask up. I wasn’t about to let my guard down until vaccination rates in my community reached a critical mass. And guess what? They’ve been stuck around

A minimum of 75% of Jeeps equipped with this package will never even see a gravel road, much less any off-road obstacles.

The whole thing exudes unfinished/built in a dingy basement shop.

Huh, I wonder what Kitman thinks about this.

I gave Prime the ol’ heave-ho recently. I’m a little bit surprised that I don’t feel any FOMO over this special.

I’d pay to watch him choke down a meal from Chick Fil-A. I imagine it would be on a par with Krusty the Clown filming the commercial for Krusty Burger where he has to take a bite of the burger and ends up retching and washing his mouth out with a swig from his flask.

Seriously, how can this have so many ND votes right now? This thing is in pristine condition and is begging for a V8 swap.  The LS seems like a popular choice, but my dream conversion has always been a Ford combo.  Even just a Plain Jane Mustang 302 with T56 would be a hoot.  I’d probably go with the Coyote for the

I guess the only fish that could thrive in the Salton Sea were tilapia, which matches the carcass in the lead photo. I used to be pretty enthusiastic about tilapia because they’re robust, can be raised sustainably and actually pretty tasty.  Then I learned that basically all tilapia that you can purchase is fed a diet

A lot of people seem to be finding their consciences now that the horses have been out of the barn and marauding around for 4+ years.

I think it’s really as simple as this. The Republican party is nothing if not predictable: they will put short-term profits ahead of everything. In this case, they know that “going to war with big pharma” (or however they’re framing it) will gin up the passions of their minions and drive them to vote/donate/purchase.

The repair: very cool.

The Santa Cruz would be a perfect candidate for electrification. It’s baffling to me that they didn’t come out swinging with that.

1st: Elon doesn’t have to run Tesla. He must realize that. He could hand the reins over to any number of capable executives that would do a vastly better job than he’s done. Even Bill Gates stepped aside from Microsoft to focus on what interested him.

The worst part about this is that a guy like Ichiro Suzuki actually had a pretty decent grasp of the English language, but he kept an interpreter around because he wanted to ensure that he communicated his positions correctly. I see no problem whatsoever with that, and the sort of people that would get angry about him

The same people that pay to see Donald Trump slobber down his oversized tie. Or see Kid Rock drunkenly slur over music that he didn’t write.

I mean, the picture and the article sum it up. Phone use while driving. I have to assume that everybody around me is only looking at the road part of the time. It’s horrifying, and I’m honestly not sure how the situation can be remedied. Apple has at least instituted a “drive mode” thing that attempts to dissuade

“I’m one of the few, I appreciate that.”

Nah, fam.  AWD + V6?  I’d rock it at that price.  As is?  Solid ND.

Radium Girls spends hundreds of pages describing what exposure to radium does to a person over time. It’s horrifying.
