It’s insane.  I feel fortunate that I was raised to understand the importance of having savings.  The fact that a rainy day fund is important will never change, of course.  But I’m sure part of the reason my parents urged me to save was because they grew up with healthy interest rates on savings accounts.  I remember

I’m surprised, to tell you the truth.  I got a new RAM early in the fall.  I had a very, very specific list of options, as well as a color, and I managed to find one within a few hundred miles.  Though I suppose it would behoove FCA (Stellantis?) to keep churning out their best sellers.

The projection is strong with this one.

I would really be quite surprised if the McConnell/Chao marriage has been consummated. Also, just thinking about it makes me a little bit sick to my stomach.

What a piece of junk. ND all day long.

... and from my old person POV, it seems like being famous in some way is the desired career path for a large swath of the younger generation. Just need to come up with a TikTok idea that sticks and BOOM! here comes Hollywood offering you a 5-year reality show deal!

Reverse: Titanic really strikes a chord with some folks. My family took it in together in the theater, and my sisters returned to see it multiple times. Somebody in the house bought the double VHS. On balance, I didn’t think it wasn’t a very good film, but the scenery and sense of nostalgia in the first half was

You could write a large book on the bizarre marketing around yogurt. The bro-gurt trend was one that I somehow didn’t notice, though. I just don’t understand why the product is still desperately pushed as “fun.” We all know what it is by now: those of us that like it will eat it. Those of us that don’t won’t. I guess

I don’t know anything about these, or any motorcycles, but it seems like a lot of bike for the money.  NP.

I think GM has really been trying to outrun that perception. The C5 was probably the last model that was palatable to the oldsters that drive it once a week to their Saturday morning round of golf.

I feel like the Escalade has differentiated itself over the years. When it first came out, it was basically a Suburban with leather, crappy wood trim and a Cadillac logo.

I feel like this was the beginning of the end for the Si. The peak was this generation:

Well, I guess there’s at least one last petrol-fueled hurrah left in Nissan.  They wouldn’t put tailpipes on an EV.

It’s time to take the L, Andy.

If Rapstagram is to be believed, clubs in Atlanta and Miami are full to bursting every night, not a mask in sight.  This is a superspreader event.

Kylie is most likely every bit as rich as she claims.  She just doesn’t want to spend any of her in an altruistic way.  I mean, those boutiques on Rodeo Drive need shoppers.  And Nobu needs diners.  And won’t somebody think of those poor pilots and concierges in the private jet industry?

Something about this guy’s vibe has always seemed... off. It was the interview about his kinda/sorta open marriage that made the perceived sliminess seem certain.  These allegations are disgusting, but wholly unsurprising.

I wonder what the PR department has to say about it.

Prince’s athletic acumen has long been a source of pride in Minnesota.  So I had no reason to doubt the skit when it first aired.  Everything about it seemed 100% on-brand for Prince.

You said it better than I ever could have, right up until “Nice price.”  Hard ND on this one.  I’d bet hard currency that the IMS hasn’t been replaced.
