Sorry you didn't get it. Not everyone can hang with the cool kids. :) Anyhoo, catch you later - got a ride scheduled with James and Wally.

My shadow is always with me; sometimes ahead, sometimes behind, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right. Except on cloudy days, or at night.

OT, but I like that Anteater song you do. Watch out!

Much has already been debated on episode 8. I will just say that I found it interesting and intriguing, with an incredible use of images and sound, but I didn't exactly like it. I found myself checking the time to see if the episode was going to return at some point to a more narrative style and a glimpse of the

No bonehead things? Madison is inexplicably going on a trip with the kid that threatened her family last episode at the ranch, after she went to Charlie Utter to tell him to keep young sociopath in check. Nick has reversed himself and inexplicably wants to stay at the ranch he inexplicably wanted to leave last time.

I never specified any particular race. (For lack of a better term, since race is more a cultural than biological construct).

You were right. This is unproductive. See above my comment regarding token representation. I'll grant that Lynch could have included more diverse characters. I do not see this as a serious flaw for reasons I have stated already, in that it is a surface level test that adds nothing but surface level accessibility. I

When has anything I said been in anger?

I was describing you. But you knew that, as you have a direct line to the unstated influences in my brain.

The criticism got tired about 4 episodes ago, if I'm being generous. I personally feel an artificial standard of X number of characters of X number of nationalities, skin types, gender identity, etc must be included in any work is both lazy and destructive. Token representation is just that, a meaningless token.

Or just plain aggression…

You must be trolling, right? Thank you for proving you have no idea in what way I mean anything.

Do I really sound angry? I'm not.

I don't doubt it's a putoff for some people, I just think those people are sorely misguided. The diversity/inclusion checkbox is as insidious as the Bechdel Test.

You're right. This episode would have been much more relatable if the woodsmen, I mean woodspeople (gender bias anyone?) looked more like the cast of Modern Family meets Atlanta with a dash of Silicon Valley. Nothing in TV or cinema can exist legitimately unless the casting is demographically representative. To do

You're Dowd and I'm Doug, and never the twain shall meet. You're not my Dad, and even if you were my Dad, you'd still be Dowd and I'd still be just Doug. I can't be a Dowd in a Doug body; I'm not some kind of Dougleganger. So you just do Dowd and I'll do Doug, okay Dad? I mean Dowd. Forget it, I'm outta heeeere.

Agreed, except Gus' threats to Walt's family were NOT indirect. He literally says, "If you try to interfere, I will kill your wife. I will kill your son. I will kill your infant daughter."

Saul doesn't go to Omaha by choice in BB! He is even offended by the idea. It is where the vaccum cleaner guy sends him with no choice of his own.

Aside from Chuck's claimsassumptions, we never have any proof he stole anything but a couple bucks and some rare nickels and quarters from his parents.

Gus knew something. It was in his eyes. I doubt Mike told him, but he saw Nacho scraping up the pills. He knows how to read people. But he ain't no snitch. He wanted Hector to suffer rather than die swiftly, and that's what he's getting, without putting anything of his own on the line.
