Nice. I missed that. Although to be honest, I have never gotten a free shower cap at any of the hotels I've stayed in. Maybe I'm just cheap. Or maybe I don't stay in hotels often enough. Either way, free grocery bags are far more plentiful in my life than free shower caps.

It seems like paying for a shower cap would make less sense than just using free bags from the grocery store. I'm with you. Oddly specific.
