I won’t be able to purchase this car, but as the owner of a 5th generation Camaro I really like what the did to update a classic look. I think they took a big risk by not making it look totally wild and kept it a bit subtle (for a Lamborghini) while showing the roots and appreciation to a past well known model. From a

Hold up, what if that is the actual reason? I have a manual transmission in my Z4 and my wife (and even my 70 y/o mom) can drive it when she wants to. However, when my wife and I talk about getting a classic car she said sure, as long as it’s an automatic. I don’t know if I want to own a classic car with an auto…

Now that it a good point. Spend time in two countries and have a car in each. Overseas where I spend most of my time I wouldn’t mind (my wife) owning an electric car (I won’t get rid of my Camaro no matter how much she dislikes it).

I love my brembos and even though they are mis matched on my car, I only paid a little over $100 for brand new front calipers from a Cadillac and around the same for some lightly used rear calipers from a Camaro SS. They are lighter (yes, I used a luggage scale to check) and more efficient than the stock single piston

Yes, but no. I had an unexplainable connection to cars, like knowing the model and brand before I could read, but may parents care more about economy and value by the time I was born. However, my dad preferred manual transmissions and enjoyed driving, he used to let me shift for him on the back roads when I was still

Thanks for sharing. That was an epic trip and a great read.

The compressor is built in but maybe next time I can MacGyver some hoses to connect the mattress to the vacuum bags and try it out!!

I should mention that I’m over 6ft tall as well… the good thing about having a convertible is when I bought a rug from Home Depot I just put the top down and strapped it in the passenger seat. Along with the shovel I bought. Because it was snowing in December in Michigan… and I was in summer tires… I’m not really

My wife and I did an epic 20+ state mostly camping road trip in my lowered and modded 2003 Z4 and were extremely comfortable the whole time. We had a nice tent, inflatable mattress, bedding as well as cooking utensils, toiletries and enough outfits to look good for the whole time on the road. The trick was to use

How do we know that someone didn’t go back in time to stop this exact thing from happening? Imagine if American Motors went world wide. Its bad enough that Coke Cola and McDonald’s has started to take over the world with American influence. I think that someone went back to give little VW a chance to make a positive

I live abroad and the movie came out last month here. My wife and I saw it in 3D and few weeks ago and we’re blown away on how awesome it was.

some snapshots from the loft at my friends shop. They were doing a photo shoot there while I was getting an oil change.

Email sent, may not have gone through. I did see the manufacture’s name is Wey and they call it the ‘Tank 300’ but somehow I don’t think that’s accurate.

Thanks for the reply, I should have been more clear. I was trying to say that as a resident of Michigan, I’m happy that cars are continued to be manufactured in Michigan and not in other states or countries. When I see cars on the road that I know we’re build here it brings be pride!

Thats awesome, I love going on factory tours and I’m glad cars are getting built again in Michigan too!

Reminds me of the 1985 Toyota van we had when I was little. I was a car nerd before I could even read, but after I learned how to read, I read the owners manual front to back. It came in handy when my mom left the lights on when we went to Disney world in 89 or 1990 and the battery was dead when we tried to leave the

I bought a 03 Z4 in 2009 for 12000. Smaller engine but otherwise very similar to this car. I’m glad to see them creeping up in price as I still have mine and take very good care of it over my 10+ years of ownership. Still, having followed the prices I feel it is high for the mileage. I updated my fading lights (no

I lived there for a few years (pre-driving age) but my dad had a car. We were lucky to have parking at our complex. The mountain roads outside the city center are amazing to drive on, I wish I could have driven there. That being said, the public transportation is amazing and cheap so we hardly used the car while we

I though my TV had a dead pixel and I was quite upset! As it didn’t return after I watched that movie I kind of moved on. Still, I’m glad to know that it wasn’t my (free) TV’s fault.

Congrats and thanks for sharing. I think I need to get a Japanese convertible. When I drive my Z4, my hair always flies into my eyes, so I usually cut my hair short for the summer months because of that fact. However, when my wife drives, and I’m the passenger, the wind blows my hair perfectly so its not in my eyes.
