Thanks for the reply, I should have been more clear. I was trying to say that as a resident of Michigan, I’m happy that cars are continued to be manufactured in Michigan and not in other states or countries. When I see cars on the road that I know we’re build here it brings be pride!

Thats awesome, I love going on factory tours and I’m glad cars are getting built again in Michigan too!

Reminds me of the 1985 Toyota van we had when I was little. I was a car nerd before I could even read, but after I learned how to read, I read the owners manual front to back. It came in handy when my mom left the lights on when we went to Disney world in 89 or 1990 and the battery was dead when we tried to leave the

I bought a 03 Z4 in 2009 for 12000. Smaller engine but otherwise very similar to this car. I’m glad to see them creeping up in price as I still have mine and take very good care of it over my 10+ years of ownership. Still, having followed the prices I feel it is high for the mileage. I updated my fading lights (no

I lived there for a few years (pre-driving age) but my dad had a car. We were lucky to have parking at our complex. The mountain roads outside the city center are amazing to drive on, I wish I could have driven there. That being said, the public transportation is amazing and cheap so we hardly used the car while we

I though my TV had a dead pixel and I was quite upset! As it didn’t return after I watched that movie I kind of moved on. Still, I’m glad to know that it wasn’t my (free) TV’s fault.

Congrats and thanks for sharing. I think I need to get a Japanese convertible. When I drive my Z4, my hair always flies into my eyes, so I usually cut my hair short for the summer months because of that fact. However, when my wife drives, and I’m the passenger, the wind blows my hair perfectly so its not in my eyes.

I love road trips and I have no problem with the toll road system. I navigate with GPS programmed to skip toll roads. I don’t pay fees and I have much better access to food, gas, attractions and scenery. I think that it usually only shaves off a few minutes from my drive time, which is not worth paying for when I

Didn’t know that! Maybe I’m thinking of the Fiat.

As much as I love my family and love to travel so far there is nothing that has made me want to leave my safe place. I feel very safe living outside of the US. In fact, when the country I live in has 1-2 local infections in a day it is news worthy, the norm is 0...

Those are very handsome headlights when uncovered. It makes me wonder what a facelift with uncovered headlights would look like.

I grew up (and my mom still lives) just about one mile away from Bundy Hill... I love that park, but my lowered Z4 can’t manage the trails. I wish I could have been there to see the fun!

Yeah, I’m going to have to go with the manufacture’s recommendation. When I was younger and saw that there was “premium” gas I thought it would make the car into a race car or something, but after reading and researching (and trying it out in my old car(I used to keep a notebook with fill ups in my car, now I use an

Edit my last remark to second best” please!

I love the orange back light. I remember my parents rented a 3 series in the early 90's when we spent a summer in Europe and the dash lights in that car were my favorite feature. I don’t know if that was the impetuous for my decision, but when I “grew up”, the second car I bought was a BMW. I still love the soothing or

If the questions is does anyone want it, I am sure there is someone out there that would appreciate that. In my Camaro 5 chat group there is a guy who put colorful LED lights all around the inside of his car that pulses and changes with the music. He often posts pictures and video in our group of him driving around in

I agree with who ever said whichever state they are answering from, but... Michigan does have the worst roads. And I am from Michigan.

Wow, you said the exact same thing I would have said. In the late 90's my Christian friends introduced me to FIF and I’ve never stopped listing to ska. The ska band I formed in 2001 is still somehow surviving and I’m happy that I stuck with it long enough to be “cool” again.

I just recently put yellow fog lights on for a bit of a change. I’m really loving it.

Totally off topic for the article but as the only original member of the ska band I started in 2001, for me, playing shows now is more about nostalgia and getting drunk people to dance, and I still love doing it, even though I don’t make any money.
