I am so much like you but I never rev over 2500 before it is warm. It has an LLT and I am afraid of the timing chain getting loose. My Father in Law says not to turn the wheel because it is too hard on the hydraulics. And I keep my cars cleaner than I keep my self, I totally agree that the better you treat your car

My dad would also press in the the clutch and wiggle the stick before starting our cars. I realize that I kept that habit too, but we always used the parking break as well.

I travel a lot and I pay close attention to cars. Currently this is my favorite because before I saw it I didn’t even know it existed. It looked like it was fresh off the showroom floor as well. Due to the length I think that their parking can be forgiven in this picture.

We had a 1985 (brown) Toyota van, very similar to that one. I remember it listing when ever a light wind blew or a truck passed us. Otherwise very reliable and we used it for 10 years in Michigan. The only reason we sold it is because we moved over seas.

I saw the gif and knew right away that was in China. After living here for 18 years I’ve seen it all. While the society of driving is getting better as a whole we have to remember that the country is just now entering its second generation of drivers. There are still some inexplicably stupid drivers on the road.

Everyone is wrong. Mine is the best, because I built it into everything I wanted it to be- a daily driver that I can take to the track or on the mountain roads. It can haul my amps and guitars to a gig, it is reliable and I love everything about it. I grew up in the 80’s thinking that Camaros were to best thing ever

My family has owned nothing but Honda since 1991. I can’t believe that I never knew that before!

I can’t believe that I never noticed #1 before... i’ve owned a Z4 since 2009 and I thought I knew everything there was to know about it!

Oh did I have an interesting childhood... my grandpa was a wonderful, kind, gentle and generous person, but he loved to tell people that during the WW2 he was on “de udder zide” and he was. He would watch discovery channel and sing along with the nazi songs... when I was little he told me that his job was to cut the

I have kept this a secret from all my gear head friends for a while. I feel safe and secure to write it down here...

I am going to put forward a very unpopular opinion here, but just hear me out. I do almost everything on my own car except for the oil and oil filter changed. I go to the dealer for that. I know when I go to the dealer I will get free coffee, snacks and a car wash, and they will do a good inspection on my car as well.

You said it! My house is about just over one mile away from Bundy Hill off road park (https://www.bundyhilloffroad.com also featured in the Detriot Steel TV show), and not too far from Toledo, Ohio. This area would make perfect sense to let them go loose. Every weekend in the summer I see convoys of Jeeps heading over

I saw one of these in person just last week. It is interesting how some cars look better in photographs when this one looked the same in real life and in photos.

Ok, I thought I was committing a cardnal sin or something. My motorcycle helmet had a slide down tinted visor, I know the pain. I specifically bought a helmet that had padding to accommodate my glasses. Thanks for the info!

What is wrong with wearing sunglasses inside a helmet? I need corrective lenses and do most of my track days in my convertible with the top down, so I almost always have my sunglasses on...

I was born and raised in Michigan, but I have been living overseas most of my life. I do have a house in Michigan to go back to when I don’t have work. Michigan is a great place for me to just decompress. In the summers I have boating and autocross, winters I constantly shovel my driveway, but the scenery is always

That seems like a good price to me. I bought my 03 Z4 back in 2009 for that price and mine is the base model. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning my Z4 and it really is as simple as a modern car can be. There is not too much to distract you from the joy of driving it. Mine is the 5 speed and the transmission is

If those friends were not retirees who bought the Miata just because it was “cute” i’d mention that to them! I like the look of your set up, very clean

My 2011 Camaro has a little bucket hidden under the back seat with no real useful way of reaching it unless you pull up the side of the cushion. Straight Edge Jeph has no idea what that could be used for.

My parents have been buying Honda’s since 1991. They have never had a window defroster work properly. I think the only Honda I have never had a problem with windows not being fogged up is my VFR-400...
