I think the darkness and ugly violence was necessary to get the points across. It was grim but not unnecessary.

I have a feeling that Steve DeKnight plans to have a surprise ending where Spartacus survives. He has hinted at such in interviews.

I thought it was commonly believed that nobody knows exactly what happened to Spartacus as his body was not recovered.

I think I feel the same. I think it is one of the only podcasts that actually makes me laugh out loud at times. Granted, I am usually on a crowded public train at the time and may appear to be a loon, but I think it is worth it.

I think "bone-zone" reached its apex when Jason used it as a gerund in the Sleepaway Camp episode when talking about the gay sex scene.

From an interview I read with DeKnight and the Actor that plays Caesar  he is meant to be about 28 or 29 in the show, so it is about right.
