At least they fixed it which isn’t always the case on some of the sister sites!

My brain broke reading that headline. Headline writer have a day off?
You could do it back in the days of automatic seatbelts that were all the rage in the late 90's.
Cannot think of one more pathetic at any rate. Makes it hurt to be a Bears fan...
A few summers there that wouldn’t get me past end of June once school let out. Being a late 80's kid, by time I was 9 (1987) I was pretty much allowed to ride my bike anywhere for however long I wanted. Back when parents (were) allowed their kids to roam pretty freely.....
basically *everyone* condoned it from fans to players to labor to owners to the media. That was the whole Chicks dig the long ball phase as MLB was desperate for fans to come back to the game after the 1994/5 strike. The 1998 home run chase is largely credited as saving baseball despite everyone figuring there was…
Yeah, that’s just ridiculous, and it’s not like Pete had a bad OBP at .375, that’s a very commendable rate. Bonds was just that feared from 1999 on, but he was always a prodigious on base guy even before that time. 2001 it seemed like he just walked or hit a home run. Of course it helped that he had that big pad on…
I’m fine with Pete going in. I’m also fine with Shoeless Joe Jackson going in too.
Schumer sets the agenda, so unless a Democrat dies between now and when a nomination is made, Turtle can’t do a thing to slow it down.
If you made all 762 homers into outs instead, his career OBP would still be better than Ortiz’s. That was a wild stat to hear, especially since Papi’s was a robust .380.
Schilling should have been in awhile ago, but his attitude (and his antics!) pissed off too many voters, and this year he told voters not to vote for him. Yeah, he’s an asshole, but he was one of the best pitchers of his era, including the postseason.
The juice definitely isn’t worth the squeeze in Antonio Brown’s case. He’s sabotaged every team he is part of and he’s not getting any younger. I can’t see Harbaugh going for someone quite that chaotic.
True. The original Miami Herald article didn’t have that in either, though
I’m taking it as a given that it was involved.
To be fair, we were always going to have to learn to live with it given that the OG version of it spread like wildfire. Something that spread faster than a cold or flu, yet deadlier than both was always going to be endemic, even with vaccines/boosters (Corona viruses don’t have a great track record with vaccines). …
I’d say Mark Kelly is a centrist, but is far more willing to fall in line with Senate Democrat leaders. I think it can be done, but it will be a challenge, as Kelly’s poll numbers seem to indicate and you could very well be correct in your comment on bfred’s post.
Have it a 15 minute OT period for playoff games. Whoever is ahead at that point wins, if it’s still tied, then first to score a TD wins. I’d only have that for the playoffs though, not the regular season.
She’ll fulfill the Tulsi Gabbard role and probably more effectively as Sinema seems to fit better with Republican values than Tulsi does.
I don’t think that is that likely in Arizona. It’s a purple state at best, after all.
There was no way Gould was missing that kick at the end of the game. Not after kicking over the Packers pregame introductions lol.
