I wouldn’t say that. My 95 5.0 is straight piped and there are a lot of cars out there with resonators I’ve heard that are louder. As a matter of fact, there isn’t really any drone on the highway, either.

That's the problem. It's perfectly fine. Not inspiring, exciting, youthful, or particularly stand out-ish in any way. They have pretty strong competition to deal with and the Malibu just doesn't cut it.
