good choice.  the healthy choices really aren’t that satisfying.  the olives and cheese from traders seem not bad.  too bad you can’t take something more substantial yet discrete....

I have found that, at least while driving, most people fall into this category (although may be selection error on my part).  its like driving brings out once’s most base, ugliest traits.  Good movie though.

yeah - I guess ultimately it can’t matter what “they say” - but what you yourself feel comfortable with. And you can’t really know until you try it. There is no growth without adversity.

well - you’ve summed up my predicament. I am not a woman but currently I am alone. I just lost someone very dear to me and now I need to fill the time and rebuild a life. internet seems to be full of people being judgmental for no apparent reason or need.  even adults.  I think its built into us biologically ... maybe as a survival tactic - people who stick w/ what the majority thinks take less risk and therefore are more likely to survive...etc...

I don’t know about slicing (but I am no purest, so enjoy whomever does it) but I would appreciate a smaller bagel.  bagel size is ridiculous.  really most things in the US are ridiculous - that’s why I’m always in need of some weight control.

I”m with you - I can’t eat much butter cream (and I guess I’m in the very small minority because it seems like most cakes are more butter cream than actual cake).  I preferred whip cream...or how about just plain moist cake au naturale?

I’m with you generally, though fondant (before it became overused) was pretty cool - it made a cake look art deco.

this would all change w/ high speed rail - and it should change, but we aren’t willing to pay for it.  I had a kid working from me who was from shenzen and routinely took the train to work - he said it took about 55 minutes...that was 300 KM.
