Humanoid robots seem incredibly dumb to me. Our bodies not perfect for all things, and actually quite unfit for most. Want to go fast on smooth ground? Add wheels. Need to reach into a crazy spot? Make 10 foot, triple-articulated arms with swivel clamps on the ends.

As a big fan of F1, IMSA, WEC...Formula E is just boring. They seem artificially very slow and sterile every time I’ve seen them. This, but auto racing:

I love the idea of these - small, PHEV, great looks, high performance. But...48 large on a 10 year old proof of concept model is not something I’d recommend for anyone, including myself who is known for making poor vehicular choices.

I always loved these — quirky, stylish and simple! This one looks liek it is in great shape too, easy NP.

Man, farts are funny. I have seen this video a bunch of times and it still brightens my day every time.

At least they waited for the tow truck to exit the picture, although forgot to remove the tow hook. This screams clapped out to me...the wheels don’t seem to fit, tires are mismatched. I’ll give the seller some credit for cleaning the car nicely before taking pictures but thats about it. This reeks of a curbstomper.

Perhaps a better figure would be % of income. When my wife and I bought our grand cherokee, she nearly had a heart attack at the 45k price tag. Its the most expensive vehicle we’ve ever purchased. We have mortgages and a bit of other debt but make a good wage...it always makes me wonder who decides to buy or lease

The 5.0 might sound better and make finding parts a little easier but generally seems kinda pointless to me. I’d much rather see an original engine in there, its not like the 5.0 suddenly modernizes it. I always appreciated the 80s-ness of these cars but not enough to drop 20 grand. Decent examples can be had for less

What a muffin top! I know this is the way small cars were in the 70s, but man a decent fitting set of wheels on this car would do wonders.

The math doesn’t math. 10k a month is 120k a year, which is much less than 1.4mm. 15k a week is more like it, but would hve to average that throughout the duration.

No idea what the market is on this, but it looks like an absolute blast to drive. 6500 seems reasonable for something like that -- have fun, don’t sweat taking it out too much and turn a few heads.

NP. These are damn near impossible to find in good condition these days, and this is also quite a rare color. I had a Fiji blue R/T like this for years and put many trouble free miles on it. Since it was totaled 15 years ago, I’ve only seen a handful pop up here and there.

I personally think the facelift rear end looks MUCH better (if less weird) than the original design. That said, this car is not original and should be considered a neat, unusual driver. At 21k you’re well on your way to saving enough to have a real S4 whcih has quite a lot more power.

If you’re buying this for a 3rd row, it seems silly. Lots of larger SUVs can give a little more room and utility, and whatever was wrong with minivans if that is your MO? I don’t see that as a major selling point.

I could see this getting 15-20k, based on its condition. I also always wanted one of these, but not at this price. About the german rivals....You could get into a decent used E550 for 1/3 the price with the same performance. Hell, for 33k you are approaching e63s and more recent M550.

See also: Ayrton Senna. He is idolized in F1 for his aggression and pushing the limits, right up until his luck ran out. That said, find me a modern F1 driver that does not put Senna on a pedestal not just despite, but in accordance with his ruthless aggression...

Technically it’s already gone, but the cars are still out putzing around. Given their reputation, I think it’ll be about 10 months before they all but disappear, bricked by unsupported software with glitches.

They could make the trims a lot more relatable. For example, the salt life trim, the punisher trim (with an upmarket version including the blue lives matter package, a thin blue trim line applied across the car, but devoid of any actual meaningful content), replace the smokers package with the vaper’s package, etc.

There are art cars, and then there is the most convenient surface for mom to dance around while high as a kite and use up whatever paint is laying around the house in an effort to summon chakras or communicate with aliens.
