I hope this nailbiter moment is included

“Show winner” is exactly the type of scene this thing will remain in. Looks like the work was done decent but the safari miatas are pretty played out at this point.

We had this in our s60 as well. A very specific intersection would confuse it to the point of slamming on the brakes every time we’d cross it. There were trolley tracks, which must have had a weird reflection point or something.

2003 Audi a4 3.0. It kept fouling O2s on one side, figured it would be something simple. I’ve replaced virtually everything at this point:

So how quickly are hertz gonna dump these at 1/3 asking price?

In a similar vein, I liked these because of the taillights too:

I would hope with all of that work that its had its timing chain/tensioner service done (requiring engine-out). This is one of those cars that -- unfortunately for the seller -- falls into a gap. It’s a special edition which implies (arguably) collectibility and rarity. The owner has since significantly modified it so

What are the failure rates? On newer models I think its around 0.1% or something. The earlier/Gen1 Ss had much higher rates but I think at this point they’ve sorted most of the full replacement issues. Degredation also seems manageable at this point (all anecdotal from shit I’ve read).

I’d be curious as to what “maintenance” those EVs need. There isn’t a whole lot to maintain, certainly less than an ICE vehicle.

You could do a lot worse for this kind of money. Not bad for a cruiser that looks to be well cared-for and maintained. If this is your thing, this is the car to get at a reasonable price.

Slow news day?

No it couldn’t, unless you assume Rob is makes a typo. Seems reading comprehension is thin...

Where did you read that it needs a new engine? Not this article...

I recently bought a Mercedes E550 with the same (common) issue. Feels very rough when they are worn. The job itself was a pain...I believe shops charge between 2k-3k for it (all labor, new mounts were $150), which for an older car is a lot of outlay. This is pretty much in the same boat. If you are willing to do the

This is neat and unusual...I never knew they made a Torino convertible, but always appreciated the lines of the hardtop. I am sure this will sell to some boomer with dispensible cash who always had it on their bucket list. I’m sure the rarity (1 of XYZ) will make it onto a printed board poster at some point.

Shit, I already spent my $10 on 8409834579432 shares of Saleen

M113 is a great reliable engine, and this appears to be well maintained. It isn’t going to be particularly fun to drive but as a comfy cruiser I’m all in NP. I’d personally have an SL (hell, I’d find a nice R129 for that money) but if a 4 seater is your cup of tea, solid buy.

This strongly reminds me of a CRZ, in a very good way. On second look, its even closer than I realized...

Its a 22 year old minivan with 238k on the clock. This price would be closer to appropriate if it were stunningly mint, original, and had under 100k with a full book of maintenance and even then, these aren’t the most desirable nor competitive for their time.

I work in tech consulting and there is a surprisingly high representation of harley riders in my network. Still sort of the adage of business on weekdays, rebel on weekends I guess (and plenty of money to support it) but these people are generally 45ish on average?
