Aside from body parts, it’s a parts bin vehicle. The frame, engine and transmission are from a crown vic (4.6L modular V8). Fun fact, Roush had some hand in the vehicle design.

I mean, I keep receipts for every oil change. Add in other regular maintenance like brakes, tires, coolant flush or whatver, and you’ve got a big ol’ stack. At 102k, that’s at least 20 for oil changes plus the VAG tax of the random sensor failures, etc. I don’t think it’s necessarily a turn-off, if anything someone

The Vue is actually a pretty good rec. The ecotec 2.2 in there is pretty much ubiquitous with 75% of GMs lineup of the time so you can practically buy half the car off the local napa shelf (for example, I got TTY camshaft bolts for my LNF from my local advance, thy were literally hanging in the “engine parts” section

It’s beautiful

It’s hardly limited to Germans. I just did tensioners on my GM ecotec...

VW even issued a recall for this, but, from what I could tell, the car my wife wanted did not take advantage of that.

I have heard (anecdotally) nothing but issues and NLA parts for porsche aircraft engines

I have been in situations in my van (80hp diesel delica) where the lack of acceleration caused some serious white knuckles. One particular time stands out - an onramp to I95 where there is literally no merge area. It’s straight onto the highway (with a useful yield sign). It also has a very sharp corner preceding it,

I found this format to be a bit cumbersome and more difficult to read. If you want to keep the format, I would suggest making headers and/or organizing it into logical sections a bit more. For example, if I’m just looking for an opinion on the interior layout or something, I need to scan the entire transcript vs.

So what they are saying is we can’t moonwalk in front of a Tesla then?

I’ll believe Nissan a bit more once they get a production-ready car and announce that they are in fact in production. The (lack of) IDX really soured my faith in their commitment to anything sporty.

Guys, this is bad.

OTOH, your Astro van had a Corvette dash. All depends on perspective!

The 370z is still available...its not a bad car or chassis, just dated. I doubt the new Z will compete with the toyubaru twins directly.

And yet through all that, Kinja still massively sucks.

So uhhhh....they made a flagship car that looks like a 5 year old Audi A8. Way to go MB.

Hamilton has some amazing driving, but there is still opportunity for others (see 70th at silverstone a few weeks ago where verstappen won). Usually the stuff behind Ham is way more exciting.

I love that Ricciardo is still a decent contender here despite the Renaults being a bit lackluster. P4 aint bad! Hope he keeps it up in the race.

I agree, that styling element never resonated with me. I think from most angles, it also doesn’t appear parallel with the ground, although I believe it is. Just the angle of the inset fender really screws with it. Seriously, aside from that silly styling decision, I’d love the design. I can’t unsee that stupid

Someone should tell the guy to point the car down the street. When you’re driving ACROSS the street, it’s hard to rack up miles.
